<br />Project Description /Justification
<br />This project includes expansion of the existing Southern Human Services Center, contingent upon approval of the SUP -M identified in the separate South Orange Campus Site
<br />Development project. In February 2007, the Board approved a master plan concept for the Southern Human Services Center site and in November 2010, authorized the
<br />preparation of a formal Master Plan for the campus, which included a Dental Clinic.
<br />The proposed Master Plan would include requirements associated with the needed SUP modification for separate site preparation activities that might be necessary to preserve
<br />the County's long -term development options at this location. Expansion of the existing building to accommodate future Human Services program needs is projected later in the
<br />plan to allow for the logical and timely development of master plan recommendations. A separate CIP request reflects preparation and preliminary development activities
<br />associated with the Orange County Southern Campus Master Plan.
