(d) reduce property taxes on homestead property by <br /> increasing the income limit that qualifies taxpayers and by <br /> increasing the assessed value of property excluded from taxation <br /> and providing for State reimbursement to local governments for <br /> one half of the revenue lost due to the homestead tax reduction; <br /> (e) providing financial support for the construction of <br /> and start up operation expenses of a Durham Technical Community <br /> College satellite campus to be located within Orange County and <br /> supporting any legislation necessary to create a satellite <br /> campus of Durham Technical Community College within Orange <br /> County and authorizing Orange County to contract with Durham <br /> County for the establishment and continued operation of. the <br /> satellite campus; <br /> (f) establishing a permanent prohibition on billboard <br /> advertisements along Interstate 40; <br /> (g) implementing the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro <br /> Metropolitan Planning Organization SB1164 Position Statement, a <br /> copy of which is Exhibit A to this Resolution; <br /> (h) any bill submitted by the Town of Hillsborough <br /> authorizing the de-annexation of all but not less than all of <br /> the satellite portion of Hillsborough which was created by <br /> satellite annexation and which is depicted on the excerpt of a <br /> map which is Exhibit B to this Resolution; <br /> 2 <br />
