124 <br />Summary of Public Involvement Sessions <br />Three total sessions were held for members of the public to attend to learn about the <br />Orange County CTP and provide input. Common information presented at all sessions <br />included the basic definition of a CTP, the typical CTP process, a description of the <br />Strategic Highway Vision Plan and its corridors in Orange County, and the definitions <br />and examples of highway facility types. <br />Below is information specific to each public session. <br />September 29, 2009 <br />Public Awareness Session <br />5:00pm to 9:00pm <br />Efland Ruritan Club, 3106 Highway 70 West, Efland <br />Purpose / information presented: informing locals of the CTP study that was in its early <br />stages, gaining their input on areas in need of study <br />Number of attendees: 2 (not including NCDOT and county staff) <br />February 7, 2011 <br />Public Drop -in Session <br />4:30pm to 7:30pm <br />Orange County Public Library, 137 W.
