Gordon, Earl McKee, Bernadette Pelissier, Renee Price and <br /> 14 Penny Rich <br /> 15 COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: <br /> 16 COUNTY ATTORNEYS PRESENT: John Roberts <br /> 17 COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Frank Clifton, Assistant County <br /> 18 Managers Gwen Harvey, Michael Talbert, Clarence Grier and Clerk to the Board Donna <br /> 19 Baker (All other staff members will be identified appropriately below) <br /> 20 <br /> 21 NOTE: ALL DOCUMENTS REFERRED TO IN THESE MINUTES ARE IN THE <br /> 22 PERMANENT AGENDA FILE IN THE CLERK'S OFFICE. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Oaths of Office for Board Members <br /> 25 N.C. House Representative Angela Bryan administered the oath to Mark Dorosin <br /> 26 N.C. State Senator Ellie Kinnaird administered the oath to Bernadette Pelissier <br /> 27 N.C. State Senator Ellie Kinnaird administered the oath to Renee Price <br /> 28 N.C. State Senator Ellie Kinnaird administered the oath to Penny Rich <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Board Organization <br /> 31 <br /> 32 The Clerk distributed the ballots <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Election of Chair —Barry Jacobs (7-0) <br /> 35 Election of Vice-Chair- Earl McKee (7-0) <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Chair Jacobs asked each of the new Commissioners if they would like to make <br /> 38 any comments or recognize anyone with them this evening. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 Commissioner Dorosin noted that his family was in attendance <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Commissioner Price noted that her parents were here from New York, along with <br /> 43 several other family members <br /> 44 <br /> 45 Commissioner Rich noted that her family and several friends were in attendance <br /> 46 <br />
