She thanked her family for their support throughout these past 4 years. <br /> 4 She is very proud of the work the County Commissioners have all done. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Resolution of Commendation for Commissioner Steve Yuhasz: <br /> 7 <br /> 8 ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> 9 <br /> 10 RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION <br /> 11 FOR <br /> 12 COMMISSIONER STEVE YUHASZ <br /> 13 <br /> 14 <br /> 15 WHEREAS, the residents of Orange County elected Steve Yuhasz to the Board of County <br /> 16 Commissioners in 2008; and <br /> 17 <br /> 18 WHEREAS, Steve Yuhasz has served the residents of Orange County with distinction for the <br /> 19 past four years, including being elected by his peers as Vice-Chair of the Board <br /> 20 of Commissioners for 2011 ; and <br /> 21 <br /> 22 WHEREAS, Commissioner Yuhasz has given freely and unselfishly of his time and energy <br /> 23 and through his foresight and leadership, helped promote progressive changes <br /> 24 and improvements in the operations and services of Orange County government, <br /> 25 while all tempered with common sense, good humor and an approachable and <br /> 26 open demeanor — thus enhancing the quality of life for all who reside in or visit <br /> 27 Orange County; and <br /> 28 <br /> 29 WHEREAS, during his tenure as an Orange County Commissioner, Steve Yuhasz has shared <br /> 30 his talent for leadership and public service through his work on numerous <br /> 31 boards, commissions and task forces, including the Orange County Board of <br /> 32 Health, the Orange-Person-Chatham Area Programs Board for Mental Health, <br /> 33 the OPC Community Operations Center Advisory Board, Communities in <br /> 34 Schools (CIS), the Solid Waste Advisory Board ( SWAB), the Solid Waste <br /> 35 Elected Officials Work Group, the Durham-Chapel Hill-Orange Work Group, the <br /> 36 Rogers Road Water and Sewer Work Group, the Orange County Advisory Board <br /> 37 on Aging, Healthy Carolinians, Information Technology Advisory Committee, and <br /> 38 the Research Triangle Regional Partnership (RTRP); <br /> 39 <br /> 40 <br /> 41 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> 42 officially commends Steve Yuhasz for his hard work, dedication and exemplary <br /> 43 service to the people of Orange County, and wishes him and his family the very <br /> 44 best in their future endeavors. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 <br /> 47 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be presented to Mr. Steve Yuhasz, with a <br /> 48 copy sent to the media, and that the Resolution be spread upon the minutes of <br /> 49 this meeting. <br /> 50 <br />
