February 27, 2013 Letter from Farm <br />Services, Soil & Water, Ag. <br />Preservation Board, and <br />Cooperative Extension <br />Representatives <br />PURPOSE: To receive a presentation on a conceptual analysis of possible facility uses, and <br />discuss and provide feedback on: <br />• Permanent Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting facilities located within the <br />2nd floor Whitted Facility or as a stand -alone structure on the site of the Link Government <br />Services Center Annex; <br />• Additional alternative use of Whitted 2nd floor space as a public use multi - purpose space <br />to include activities managed by the Orange County Cultural Center ( "OCCC ") or <br />general office space; <br />• Condition of the Environment and Agriculture Center ( "EAC ") located at 306 Revere <br />Road, and conceptual analysis of potential suitable alternative locations for the <br />occupants of this facility; and <br />• Analysis and conceptual use of the under - utilized spaces within the Link Government <br />Services Center Annex ( "GSA ") and the Link Government Services Center lower level. <br />BACKGROUND: Over the past several months, staff has studied several facilities use needs <br />and has provided concepts to the Board regarding a permanent Board meeting facility in the <br />
