Staff believes we have reached <br />24 a point where these amendments c be inbQrporated into the UDO. <br />25 This amendment also seeks to Odress concern ver height limitations on athletic field <br />26 lights. Some believe existing eight limits are too r trictive and create additional light <br />27 pollution on adjoining prop ies rather than eliminate i <br />28 WHAT THIS PROPOSAL DO <br />29 Clarify existing re ations, including: <br />30 - Modify ection 6.11.1 Purpose and Intent to include language eferencing the <br />31 Cou y's interest is promoting nighttime visibility and curtailing li t pollution. <br />32 /the odify Section 6.11.1 (E) to include language identifying the County's ' tent to <br />33 gulate outdoor lighting in an effort to `restore natural light cycles'. <br />34 corporate new formatting changes to ensure the regulations are consistent 'th <br />35 organizational rules of the UDO. <br />E6K <br />
