In <br />other instances, such as architectural requirements, the proposed regulations are <br />slightly more restrictive than existing regulations. <br />The regulation requirements are consistent with the recommendations contained in the <br />adopted Efland - Mebane Small Area Plan and are being proposed in order to encourage <br />a more urban style of development in the proposed Efland Interstate Overlay District and <br />a more urban village style of development in the proposed Efland Village Overlay District <br />while also promoting good planning /development practices and quality development. <br />E.
