Michael Harvey said that this would be feasible, so <br /> 4 she wanted to let the Board know about this addition. <br /> 5 A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon seconded by Commissioner Jacobs to <br /> 6 approve the Amendment Outline form contained within Attachment 1 and direct staff to proceed <br /> 7 accordingly, with the addition on page 6 as stated above. <br /> 8 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 9 <br /> 10 g Burlington-Graham Metropolitan Planning Organization Memorandum of <br /> 11 Understanding Adding Orange County as a Voting Member <br /> 12 The Board considered approval of a resolution adding Orange County as a voting <br /> 13 member of the Burlington-Graham Metropolitan Planning Organization (BG MPO) to the <br /> 14 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and authorizing the Chair and County Clerk to execute <br /> 15 the MOU. <br /> 16 Commissioner Gordon said that she had submitted some editorial changes on the pink <br /> 17 sheet at their places and they are acceptable to the BG-MPO. <br /> 18 The changes are below: <br /> 19 <br /> 20 In the Memorandum of Understanding (Attachment 2), use gender neutral language, and <br /> 21 correct the sub-section numbers, as follows: <br /> 22 <br /> 23 1 . Page 6 - 5-d: Change "his alternate" to "his/her alternate" <br /> 24 <br /> 25 2. Page 6 - 7: Change "Chairman and Vice Chairman" to "Chair and Vice Chair." <br /> 26 <br /> 27 3. Page 9 - second paragraph (after 3 bullets): Change "Chairman and Vice Chairman" to <br /> 28 "Chair and Vice Chair." <br /> 29 <br /> 30 4. Pages 7 and 9. It appears that there are two sub-sections with the number 10. Correct <br /> 31 the numbers for these sub-sections, and the ones that follow them. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner Foushee to <br /> 34 approve a resolution adding Orange County as a voting member of the Burlington-Graham <br /> 35 Metropolitan Planning Organization (BG MPO) to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) <br /> 36 and authorize the Chair and County Clerk to execute the MOU, with the editorial changes <br /> 37 shown above. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 40 <br /> 41 h.
