Box 8181 <br /> Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br /> Dear Ms. Pope: <br /> NOTIFICATION OF FUNDING OFFER <br /> On behalf of Commissioner Steve Troxier and the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer <br /> Services—Division of Soil &Water Conservation, it is with great pleasure that I offer to you$56,950.00 of <br /> district matching funds and cost share technical assistance funds for your soil and water conservation district <br /> operations.The attached Contract is for the purpose of providing matching funds to support implementation <br /> of a comprehensive conservation program for soil and water resources in your district. The funds for this are <br /> provided to the Agency by the North Carolina General Assembly. <br /> By completing the attached documents,you are agreeing to the specific stipulations,the general terms and <br /> conditions,and specific reporting requirements.Two original Contract packets must be printed, completed <br /> and returned to the NCDA&CS, making sure that the Contracts and certain forms have been signed and <br /> dated. Some documents are required to be witnessed, please make certain documents are witnessed, as <br /> applicable, before they are returned to the address provided on page 4 of your Contract cover document. <br /> All Authorized Representative Signatures MUST be in BLUE INK. Use the Contract Check Off List to ensure <br /> all attachments are included and are in the correct order for each Contract Packet. <br /> Upon final execution by the Department, one original Contract will be returned to you for your records.
