51 <br />NAME OF BOARD/COMMISSION Board of Adjustment <br /> <br />Report Period 2013 Calendar Year <br />List of Specific Tasks, Events, or Functions Performed or Sponso <br />Annually. <br />None. <br /> <br />Describe this board/commissions activities/accomplishments in c <br />. <br />out BOCC goal(s)/priorities, if applicable <br /> <br />The Comprehensive Plan suggests the development be processed in <br />equitable manner. The Board of Adjustment operates in a strong <br />framework. <br /> <br />The Board of Adjustment is not a direct creation of the BOCC but <br />required body designed to serve a myriad of functions including <br />interpretation, and application of development regulations. <br /> <br />While some of their actions are based on the wording of the adop <br />Comprehensive Plan they are required to review certain cases, su <br />and appeal applications, on a case by case basis.
