30 <br />NAME OF BOARD/COMMISSION: Orange Unified Transportation Board <br /> <br />(OUTBoard) <br />Report Period: 2012 <br />Identify any activities this board/commission expects to carry o <br />as they relate to established BOCC goals and priorities. If appl <br />there a fiscal impact (i.e., funding, staff time, other resource <br />with these proposed activities (please list). <br /> <br />(See Item 3 in the section after this for a statement regarding <br />the primary fiscal impact associated with carrying out OUTBoard <br /> <br />1. Continuation of Accomplishments 1, 2, 4, and 6 (review and co <br />and final recommendation on the Comprehensive Transportation Pla <br />(CTP), the Safe Routes to School Action Plan, Metropolitan Trans <br />Plan (MTP) (BOCC Goal Three Priority 20). <br />2. Review and comment on the DCHC MPO Collector Street Plan (BOC <br />Goal Three). [The MPO released a draft Collector Street Plan for <br />review in mid-October. The MPO will release a final Collector St <br />for public comment in mid-2013 to allow time for the 2040 Metrop <br />Transportation Plan (MTP) to be completed before drafting the fi <br />Collector Street Plan. DCHC has requested Orange Countys input, <br />especially concerning access management and connectivity in the <br />economic development districts.] <br />3. Comprehensive Plan and UDO amendments to incorporate County <br />functional road classification map and to establish appropriate <br />tightening up of existing regulations) to access management poli <br />4. Review and comment on amendment to UDO for Eno EDD access <br />management regulations (BOCC Goal 3, Priority 2: Implement <br />Comprehensive Plan (a) Rewrite zoning and subdivision regulation <br />(Unified Development Ordinance). <br />5. Conclude study of and recommendations on parking regulations <br />Economic Development areas and seek BOCC authorization to develo <br />applicable amendments to the UDO to take to the Planning Board. <br />Goal 3, Priority 2: Implement Comprehensive Plan (a) Rewrite zon <br />subdivision regulations (Unified Development Ordinance). <br />6. Provide input and recommendations on high speed rail corridor <br />the County and proposed rail crossing closings, if requested by <br />(BOCC Goal 3 Priority 20). <br />7. Continue to work with staff and the BOCC to recommend and mon <br />Orange County TIP projects (BOCC Goal 3 Priority 20). <br />8. Begin examination of UDO Section 7.8 Access and Roadways with <br />respect to the goals and objectives of the Transportation Elemen <br />Comprehensive Plan to determine consistency, and seek BOCC <br />authorization to develop recommendations of applicable amendment <br />the UDO to take to the Planning Board.
