He also reminded the Board of the attendance policy. <br />Agenda Item 8: Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Text Amendment — To make a recommendation <br />to the BOCC on government- initiated amendments to the text of the LIDO in order to modify <br />and clarify existing regulations and definitions associated with the erection and use of <br />outdoor lighting facilities. This item was heard at the November 19, 2013 quarterly public <br />hearing <br />Presenter: Michael Harvey, Current Planning <br />Pete Hallenbeck submitted the following comments for the record: <br />Item 8: Outdoor Lighting <br />My only comment here is that perhaps the best description of the term 'Initial Lumens" would be the lumens of output <br />for a bulb as printed on the packaging for the bulb. <br />I would also note that I worked with Michael Harvey on these changes, and think they are acceptable. <br />Michael Harvey: Presented abstract for review. <br />Herman Staats: In this example was there light trespassing that could have been alleviated by aiming the lights or <br />shielding them, etc. <br />37 <br />
