Article 10: Definitions 26 <br />Section 10.1: Definitions <br />clood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) <br />An official, adopted Orange County map, issued by FEMA, on which both the Special Flood Hazard Areas <br />and the risk premium zones applicable to the county are delineated. These areas are incorporated within <br />the official Zoning Atlas for Orange County as the Special Flood Hazard Area Overlay District. <br />clood Insurance Study (FIS) <br />An examination, evaluation, and determination of flood hazard, corresponding water surface elevations (if <br />appropriate), flood insurance risk zones, and other flood data in Orange County issued by FEMA.
