K <br />expenses incurred between now and then would need to be covered by the County's General <br />Fund or debt financing. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board: <br />1.) Award the engineering contract to McGill Associates of Hickory, NC in the amount of <br />$94,200 for the design, permitting, bid management and construction phase <br />management of the McGowan Creek Interceptor project; <br />2.) Approve paying for this project's engineering costs and other incurred costs out of <br />County funds until the State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan process is finalized; and <br />3.) Authorize the Chair to sign the contract on behalf of the Board of County <br />Commissioners, subject to final review by the County Attorney. <br />
