Mr. Jeff Thompson <br />December 17, 2012 <br />Page 7 <br />❑ Require such testing of Contractor's work as deemed reasonably necessary, and receive and <br />review all certificates of inspections, tests, and approvals required by Laws and Regulations or <br />the Contract Documents. ENGINEER's review of such certificates will be for the purpose of <br />determining that the results certified indicate compliance, with the Contract Documents and will <br />not constitute an independent ,evaluation that the content or procedures of such inspections, <br />tests, or approvals comply with the requirements of the Contract Documents. ENGINEER shall <br />be entitled to rely on the results of such tests. <br />❑ Review and determine the acceptability of any schedules that Contractor is required to <br />submit to ENGINEER, including Progress Schedule, Schedule of Submittals and Schedule of <br />Values. <br />❑ Prepare for the OWNER a set of record drawings showing those changes made during the <br />construction process, based on the marked -up prints, drawings and other data furnished. <br />❑ Provide or make available all Project files and information to effect project closeout. <br />BASIS OF COMPENSATION <br />We anticipate performing the scope of services for the following lump sum fees: <br />1. Design and Permitting Phase <br />Engineering Fee: $35,000.00 <br />2. Easement Acquisition Phase <br />Engineering Fee: $4,000.00 <br />3. Bidding and Award Phase <br />Engineering Fee: $9,200.00 <br />4. Construction Phase <br />Engineering Fee: $46,000.00 <br />Total Fixed Fee: $94,200.00 <br />Payment shall be made monthly as work progresses. <br />
