Staff currently has these positions as At-Large positions and always has. She asked <br /> 24 that this be noted on the template for "special representation." <br /> 25 Clerk to the Board Donna Baker said that it has always been an at-large designation. <br /> 26 Commissioner Gordon made reference to Section V, Orientation, and said that there <br /> 27 needs to be a committees section. <br /> 28 Chair Pelissier made reference to the membership and said that there are positions for <br /> 29 people from all three towns but not from the rural areas. She asked to add this to the policy. <br /> 30 Commissioner Yuhasz suggested designating two people from the unincorporated parts <br /> 31 of the County. <br /> 32 John Roberts asked to move the Human Relations Commission and the Affordable <br /> 33 Housing Advisory Board to the end because Tara Fikes was running late. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 Arts Commission: <br /> 36 Chair Pelissier made reference to Goals and Objectives to suggested indicating <br /> 37 something about the relationship to economic development. <br /> 38 Commissioner Gordon made reference to page 6 and accepting gifts or donations. She <br /> 39 asked if this was any way related to the community foundation. <br /> 40 Martha Shannon said that this is a combination of the recent resolution and the by-laws. <br /> 41 She said that she took the parts of these two and fitted them in this new template and it is the <br /> 42 same wording it has been in the past. <br /> 43 Commissioner Gordon suggested leaving it and flagging it for future discussion.
