In each capital project, there are different priorities. <br /> 11 Commissioner Jacobs said that the Link Center is a priority. <br /> 12 Commissioner Jacobs said that it would be good to share the solid waste goals and results <br /> 13 at the Assembly of Governments meeting. <br /> 14 Commissioner Hemminger made reference to asset management and asked if the County <br /> 15 could put in low flow toilets in all facilities. <br /> 16 Jeff Thompson said that when they renovate buildings, they will be putting in low flow <br /> 17 toilets. <br /> 18 Chair Pelissier asked about a sustainability report and suggested putting it online and an <br /> 19 abbreviated version to the media. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 b. Tax Collector's Monthly Report <br /> 22 The Board received a monthly report showing the amount collected on each year's taxes <br /> 23 charged during settlement, remaining uncollected, and steps being taken to collect the <br /> 24 uncollected amount. <br /> 25 Tax Administrator Dwane Brinson said that this is the first time they have given this <br /> 26 report. He said that this is an internal report. He walked the Board of County Commissioners <br /> 27 through the report. For subsequent meetings, this item will be under Information Items. <br /> 28 Commissioner Hemminger suggested on the second part of the report to have the title <br /> 29 and the year. <br /> 30 Chair Pelissier said that it would be helpful to include how many wage garnishments <br /> 31 there were in years before compared to this year. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 9. County Manager's Report <br /> 34 Frank Clifton made reference to the railroad crossing closures and said that a lot of <br /> 35 them were identified nine years ago and then it was updated in 2009. Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee —Appointment <br /> 46 The Board considered making an appointment to the Adult Care Home Community <br /> 47 Advisory Committee. <br /> 48 A motion was made by Commissioner Hemminger, seconded by Commissioner Gordon <br /> 49 to appoint Dr. Anthony John Voight to the Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee <br /> 50 in an At— Large position with a term ending 10/30/13. <br />
