Consent Agenda <br /> 17 • Removal of Any Items from Consent Agenda <br /> 18 5-f— FY 2012-2013 Purchase of Vehicles through Vehicle Replacement Internal Service <br /> 19 Fund <br /> 20 5-g — Legal Advertisement for Quarterly Public Hearing — November 19, 2012 <br /> 21 <br /> 22 • Approval of Remaining Consent Agenda <br /> 23 <br /> 24 A motion was made by Commissioner Foushee, seconded by Commissioner <br /> 25 Hemminger to approve the remaining items on the consent agenda. <br /> 26 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 27 <br /> 28 • Discussion and Approval of the Items Removed from the Consent Agenda <br /> 29 <br /> 30 f. FY 2012-2013 Purchase of Vehicles through Vehicle Replacement Internal <br /> 31 Service Fund <br /> 32 The Board considered approving the final list of County vehicles to be purchased <br /> 33 through the Vehicle Replacement Internal Service Fund established with the FY2012-13 Budget <br /> 34 and authorize staff to purchase. <br /> 35 Commissioner McKee said that in almost all of the categories they have funds to re- <br /> 36 purpose vehicles but in two departments — Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks and <br /> 37 Recreation and Social Services - are getting replacement vehicles. He asked if the vehicles <br /> 38 were being replaced specific to the requests or if they were just replacing vehicles. His concern <br /> 39 is that Parks would need specific types of vehicles, etc. He would like to buy the specific <br /> 40 vehicle to match the department. <br /> 41 Jeff Thompson said that staff meets with departments to talk about the needs. <br /> 42 A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs to <br /> 43 approve the final list of County vehicles to be purchased through the Vehicle Replacement <br /> 44 Internal Service Fund established with the FY2012-13 Budget and authorize staff to purchase. <br /> 45 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 46 <br /> 47 g Legal Advertisement for Quarterly Public Hearing — November 19, 2012 <br /> 48 The Board considered the legal advertisement for items to be presented at the joint <br /> 49 Board of County Commissioners/Planning Board Quarterly Public Hearing scheduled for <br /> 50 November 19, 2012. <br />
