SECU Family House at UNC Hospitals Orange County Arts Commission Arts Program Grant Application APPLICATION ADDENDUM This document addresses the following: - Our cash match toward the requested grant amount - The absence of resumes for artists and key administrators - Sample programs, press or other materials - Sample work Cash Match SECU Family House at UNC Hospitals will request, but has not yet secured, funding to match the $1,500 amount requested from the Arts Program. We successfully funded the program this year with grants from The Mary Duke Biddle Foundation ($1,500) and The Strowd Roses Foundation ($1,000). We will apply for funding from both foundations in their upcoming grant cycles. Should we find ourselves unable to secure matching funds from either organization, we will match the grant with our own funds, either by seeking an individual donor to match the grant, or by redirecting unrestricted funds. We can commit to keeping the Orange County Arts Commission apprised of our success in matching the grant, should we receive it. Artist/Administrator Resumes We do not maintain resumes on file for our artists. Because our program is a service-oriented and intended for pleasure, we do not request or require credentials of our performers—simply a desire to entertain. We have attached a listing of the performers who have come to the House this year and the type of entertainment provide--our 2012 Artist List. Sample Programs/Press We do not publicize our events outside the House, as our intended audience comprises House guests. We have included two posters that represent the content we post for each entertainer who performs here. Sample Work We publish photos and videos of many performances on our Facebook page.
