Work Experience: <br /> Education/Art: <br /> Art Instructor; Happy Mess <br /> December 2011-present. I work adults and children making Art :painting, collage, batik, ink, <br /> sculpture, pastels, felting, classes, private parties and individual classes <br /> Outreach Staff; Scrap Exchange <br /> August 2010-present. I work with corporations and festivals to promote recycling and the use of <br /> found objects to create art. I work with both children and adults to promote this cause. Green is <br /> Good. <br /> Event planner; Teambonding. <br /> March 2010-present. I work with major corporations in non-profit event planning to create <br /> teambuilding/bonding among employees for the greater good. Examples include working with <br /> Glaxo Smith Kline employees making and donating a mural to Ronald McDonald House in <br /> Durham. Again I worked with GSK employees this time making 100 care packages to donate to <br /> USO of N.0 for troops overseas- a gift of love/respect. <br /> Art Instructor; Sunshine &Design <br /> April 2011-December2011. I work with children ages 5 & up,who come to make and enjoy <br /> beautiful Art, Art is focused on Painting. <br /> Art Instructor; Wine &Design <br /> April 2011-December2011. I work with adults ages 20's&up, who bring their own wine and <br /> alcohol and food-to enjoy and socialize while painting a great 16X20 piece of Art. Singles, <br /> Friends, Couples- <br /> Art Instructor; Explore. Raleigh, N.0 <br /> August 2009-August 2010. Teach children and adults art and pottery ages range from 3-40 yrs <br /> old. Students work with both art and pottery mediums. Art classes covered the five elements <br /> of design. Classes are Mini Picasso, Art and Clay 1,11 and Advanced Art, and Clay and the Wheel. <br /> Team Leader/Reader/Evaluator; Measurement Incorporated. Durham, N.0 <br /> February-2008-July 2010. Score Essays for content, organization, grammatical convention, <br /> and/or the student's ability to communicate and to respond to a specific directive. <br /> Projects involve test scoring in math, science, social studies, and English. Projects are from <br /> many states, all grade levels, elementary through college. <br /> Art Instructor; Saint Savior's Senior Center. Raleigh, N.0 <br /> February 2009-June 2009. Taught seniors art and pottery ages ranging from 50-75 yrs old. <br /> Students worked with both the wheel and slab methods of pottery. Students learned about <br /> green wear, bisque wear and under and glazing method. <br />
