Participants will design,make, <br /> and permanently install mosaic tiles depicting native pollinators and plants in the children's Wonder Garden. This <br /> art project supports the NCBG mission to connect people to nature and through diverse and creative opportunities <br /> that instil recognition of the intrinsic value of nature,as well as the benefits of nature. The NCBG is free of charge <br /> and this project will integrate art education and conservation ideals,resulting in a permanent,durable,artwork that <br /> will engage and inform the Orange County community, including traditionally underserved individuals, and all <br /> visitors to the garden of the importance of pollination to the health of the environment. Grant funds will support the <br /> artist's planning,prep, design,instructional and installation hours,for approximately 24 sq. ft. of recycled glass <br /> custom free form mosaics. <br /> Questions?
