rf— �02o v c7 <br /> - ,-,266) <br /> VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION <br /> IN <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> Whereas, thousands of volunteers give of their time, energy and expertise to Orange <br /> County and other organizations to provide needed services to county residents; and, <br /> Whereas, volunteers contribute greatly to the enrichment of our communities and help <br /> make Orange Csuly a better place to live; and, <br /> Whereas, volunteers are an invaluable asset to Orange County departments and agencies, <br /> and their service contributes to the cost effectiveness and efficiency of government <br /> operations; and, <br /> Whereas, volunteers strengthen and reinforce the democratic process by giving of their <br /> time to help solve community challenges; and, <br /> Whereas, during April the Board of County Commissioners will show its appreciation to <br /> its dedicated volunteers by presenting each with a lapel pin with the inscription"I make a <br /> Difference." <br /> Therefore, the Board of County Commissioners thanks our volunteers for their <br /> community spirit, expertise, dedication and commitment to the citizens of Orange <br /> County. <br /> Adopted this 4t'day of April, 2000 <br /> Moses Carey, Jr., Chair <br />
