ADMINISTRATION PROPOSAL 27 <br /> An Ordinance Amending the Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision <br /> Regulations of Orange County <br /> Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Orange County, North Carolina, that the Zoning <br /> Ordinance and the Subdivision Regulations are hereby amended as follows: <br /> Section 9. Proposed Subdivision Regulation New Language: Amend CONTENTS by re-writing <br /> Section I to read Purpose, Authority, Jurisdiction, Private Property Rights and Applications to <br /> be Processed Expeditiously and inserting a new section I - E. Applications to be Processed <br /> Expeditiously on page 2 of the Subdivision Regulations for Orange County, NC to read as follows: <br /> Recognizing that inordinate delays in acting upon appeals or applications may impose <br /> unnecessary costs on the appellant or applicant, the county shall make every reasonable <br /> effort to process appeals and permit applications as expeditiously as possible, consistent <br /> with the need to ensure that all development conforms to the requirements of this chapter. <br /> Section 2.
