RES-2012-104 <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> RESOLUTION LEASING PROPERTY <br /> Whereas, Orange County owns the Adult Day Health Center located at the Central <br /> Orange Senior Center, 103 Meadowlands Drive, Hillsborough, NC 27278, comprising <br /> approximately 3,550 conditioned square feet and approximately 750 square feet of patio <br /> space (the "Premises"); and <br /> Whereas, Senior Care of Orange County, Incorporated, a North Carolina Nonprofit <br /> Corporation, desires to lease the Premises; and <br /> Whereas, Senior Care of Orange County, Incorporated provides valuable services to <br /> the citizens and residents of Orange County; and <br /> Whereas, Senior Care of Orange County should maintain as the first priority for the <br /> Adult Day Health Center the provision of services to Orange County residents; and <br /> Whereas, North Carolina General Statute 160A-272 authorizes the lease of county- <br /> owned properties; and <br /> Whereas, in consideration of the valuable services provided to the citizens and <br /> residents of Orange County by Senior Care of Orange County, Incorporated, the Board <br /> of Commissioners of Orange County desires to lease the Premises to Senior Care of <br /> Orange County, Incorporated. <br /> THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Board of County Commissioners hereby <br /> approves the lease of the county property described above to Senior Care of Orange <br /> County, Incorporated and directs the execution of all necessary instruments <br /> accordingly. <br /> This the 3'd Day of December 2092. <br /> Barry Jacobs <br /> Orange Co ty Bo r C mmissioners <br />
