Soft and wet soil was encountered in this area in a test pit. It was <br /> recommended that the material be removed and replaced with suitable fill. The material was removed <br /> and a 2'bridge lift placed. Undercut measured 20'x 26'x 6.5'for 125 cubic yards. <br /> It was also recommended that on site soils containing large quantities of rock not be used as fill since <br /> adequate fines are not present in the material. The contractor stated that he would use on site soils that <br /> were less rocky in fill areas. <br /> Terracon is providing undercut quantities for information only.
