The topsoil was removed <br /> and subgrade material evaluated with a probe rod and observing earthwork equipment traveling across <br /> the area. Soft,wet clay was encountered to an average depth of 1.5'. It was recommended to remove <br /> the sofVwet clay and replace with suitable fill.. The contractor removed the unsuitable material in an <br /> area measuring 26'x 80'x 1.5'for a total undercut of 116 cubic yards. <br /> Terracon is providing undercut quantities for information only.
