Mayor Chilton said that this is similar to the first item on the agenda in that there was a <br />very high-level, but informal discussion about same of these issues with Chatham County. He <br />said that TTA needs to be a central part of the discussion. <br />Commissioner Jacobs said that the majority of the Chatham Commissioners have been <br />there less than a year, so they are trying to catch up and are feeling their way. Another part of <br />the discussion was that fewer and fewer of UNC's employees live in Orange County, and <br />Carolina North will impact the surrounding areas.
