The Goldstei.n survey identified possible wetlands <br /> within the narrow stream.comdars shown on the ati:ached Figvre 1. The streams and <br /> wetlands should be protected from distUrbance associated with future developmen� <br /> The Town of Chapel Hill requires stream buffers for any sireams that qualify as a <br /> Resovrce Protection Distric� For intermittent streams the Town requires 50 feet of buffer <br /> on both sides of the stream and for perennial streams the Town requires 150 feet on both <br /> sides. To determi.n.e the exact amount of buffer,a stream d.et��n�on would be needed. <br /> . fram the Town's stormwater department <br /> In summary, any deyelopment in this area would need to work around the streams, <br /> buffers a�d possible weflands.
