12 <br />RES-2012-104 <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />RESOLUTION LEASING PROPERTY <br />Whereas,Orange County owns the Adult Day Health Center located at the Central <br />Orange Senior Center, 103 Meadowlands Drive, Hillsborough, NC 27278, comprising <br />approximately 3,550 conditioned square feet and approximately 750 square feet of patio <br />space (the “Premises”); and <br />Whereas,Senior Care of Orange County, Incorporated, a North Carolina Nonprofit <br />Corporation, desires to lease the Premises; and <br />Whereas,Senior Care of OrangeCounty, Incorporated provides valuable services to <br />the citizens and residents of Orange County; and <br />Whereas,North Carolina General Statute 160A-272 authorizes the lease of county- <br />owned properties; and <br />Whereas,in consideration of the valuable services provided to the citizens and <br />residents of Orange County by Senior Care of Orange County, Incorporated, the Board <br />of Commissioners of Orange County desires to lease the Premises to Senior Care of <br />Orange County, Incorporated. <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that Board of County Commissioners hereby <br />approves the lease of the county property described above to Senior Care of Orange <br />County, Incorporated and directs the execution of all necessary instruments <br />accordingly. <br />rd <br />This the 3Day of December2012. <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Bernadette Pelissier, Chair <br /> Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />
