Baker (All other staff inembers will be <br /> 19 identified appropriately below) <br /> 20 PLANNING BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Larry Wright, and Planning Board members <br /> 21 Pete Hallenbeck, Andrea Rohrbacher, Maxecine Mitchell, Rachel Phelps Hawkins, Alan <br /> 22 Campbell, Johnny Randall, H.T. "Buddy" Hartley, Lisa Stuckey, Howard Statts <br /> 23 PLANNING BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: Dawn Brezina and Tony Blake <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Tentative 2013 Planning / Planning Board Work Plan and Discussion <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 1) Openinq Remarks <br /> 29 Introductions were made. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Chair Pelissier said this was Commissioner Foushee and Commissioner Yuhasz's last meeting <br /> 33 and Commissioner Hemminger's too, but Commissioner Hemminger was unable to attend. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 Larry Wright, Planning Board Chair, welcomed everyone and thanked the Commissioners for <br /> 36 meeting with them. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 <br /> 39 2) 2011/12 Work Products Accomplishments <br /> 40 Land Use, Zoning, UDO (Craig Benedict) <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Craig Benedict briefly reviewed the planning departments/planning board accomplishments this <br /> 43 past year including the Hwy 57 area and their first usage there. <br /> 44 <br /> 45 Craig Benedict then mentioned the mid-section of Orange County, in the Mebane area and that <br /> 46 the county has completed a 400 acre land use element with amendments, and also completed <br /> 47 some Economic Development District (EDD) amendments as well in this area. He said this was <br /> 48 the largest amount of amendments for this Small Area Plan process thus far. <br /> 49 <br /> 50 Craig Benedict said the Hillsborough Economic development zone is also coming to fruition and <br /> 51 Hillsborough has a MOU with Board of County Commissioners and they hope to move forward <br /> 52 on this soon. <br /> 53 <br />
