<br />A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs to <br />appoint Eric Hallman as the Town of Hillsborough representative to a term ending June 30, <br />2010 to the Economic Development Commission. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />c. Human Relations Commission -New Appointments <br />The Board considered making new appointments to the Human Relations Commission. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Nelson, seconded by Commissioner Foushee to <br />appoint Jennifer Frye and Maria de Bruyn to full terms ending June 30, 2008 to the Human <br />Relations Commission. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />d. Human Services Advisory Board -New Appointment <br />The Board considered making one appointment to the Human Services Advisory <br />Commission. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Foushee, seconded by Commissioner Gordon to <br />appoint James Harris to a partial term ending March 31, 2009 to the Human Services Advisory <br />Commission. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />e. Sportsplex Community Advisory Committee -New Appointment <br />The Board considered making one appointment to the Sportsplex Community Advisory <br />Committee. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Gordon to <br />appoint Jack Chestnut to a partial term ending September 30, 2009 to the Sportsplex <br />Community Advisory Committee. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />11. Closed Session <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Nelson, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs to go <br />into closed session at 10:40 for the purpose of: <br />"To consider and give instructions to the County Attorney concerning the handling of the case of <br />Christopher Road Realty, Inc. vs. Orange County Board of Adjustment, Orange County Superior <br />Court File No. 06 CVS 1489, pursuant to N C Gen Statute Section 143-318.11(a}{3)." <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />RE-CONVENE INTO REGULAR SESSION: <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Foushee to <br />reconvene into regular session at 10:55 p.m. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />12.
