<br />APPROVED 911 912 0 0 7 <br />MINUTES <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />June 26, 2007 <br />7:30 p.m. <br />The Orange Caunty Board of Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, June 26, <br />2007 at 7:30 p.m. at the Southern Human Services Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chair Moses Carey and Commissioners Valerie <br />P. Foushee, Alice M. Gordon, Barry Jacobs and Mike Nelson <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONER ABSENT: <br />COUNTY ATTORNEYS PRESENT: Geoffrey Gledhill <br />COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Laura Blackmon, Assistant County <br />Managers Willie Best and Gwen Harvey, and Clerk to the Board Donna S. ProclamationslResolutionslSpecial Presentations <br />a. Resolution of Commendation to the Master Aaing Plan Task Force <br />The Board considered a resolution commending the Master Aging Plan Task Force on <br />the completion of the five-year plan update that was presented to the Board of County <br />Commissioners on May, 3, 2007 and adopted on May 15, 2007, and authorizing the Chair to <br />sign. <br />Department on Aging Director Jerry Passmore said that they appreciated the Board of <br />County Commissioners offering this resolution to the MAP Task Force. All members were <br />invited to came to this meeting. He recognized the Ca-Chairs, Florence Soltys and Pat Sprigg. <br />He also recognized the other members that were present and invited them to stand. <br />Jerry Passmore read the resolution. <br />
