II <br /> 8 <br /> Jeanette Jones <br /> From: Catherine Wilson <CWilson@townofcarrboro.org> <br /> Sent: Tuesday, November 13, 2012 9:47 PM <br /> To: Jeanette Jones <br /> Subject: Resolution <br /> Jeanette, <br /> The Board passed the following resolution tonight: <br /> The following resolution was introduced by Alderman Gist and seconded by Alderman Coleman: <br /> A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING AN APPOINTMENTTO THE ORANGE COUNTY HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION <br /> Resolution No.34/2012-13 <br /> WHEREAS,the Town of Carrboro has two seats on the Orange County Human Services Commission;and <br /> WHEREAS,Matthew Prentice has submitted an application expressing interest in serving as a Carrboro representative on <br /> the Orange County Human Services Commission. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF CARRBORO HEREBY RESOLVES: <br /> Section 1.The Board of Aldermen hereby recommends that the Orange County Board of Commissioners appoint <br /> Matthew Prentice as a Carrboro representative on the Orange County Human Services Commission. <br /> Section 2.This resolution shall become effective upon adoption. <br /> The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote received the following vote and was duly adopted this <br /> 13'h day of November 2012: <br /> Ayes: Dan Coleman, Sammy Slade,Lydia Lavelle,Mark Chilton,Michelle Johnson,Jacquelyn Gist,Randee <br /> Haven-O'Donnell <br /> Noes:None <br />
