Attachment 7 136 <br /> SCRIPT FOR ACTING ON DUNHILL—DAVID WEEKLY HOMES LLC <br /> CLASS A SPECIAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION: <br /> November 20, 2012 BOCC meeting <br /> NOTE—Blue text denotes BOCC Chair/Member required action <br /> 1. Chair will explain the purpose of the item is to receive the Planning Board <br /> recommendation. <br /> For the Dunhill project, the purpose of the meeting is as follows: <br /> To receive the Planning Board recommendation, close the public hearing, and <br /> make a decision on a Class A Special Use Permit application submitted by David <br /> Weekly Homes LLC proposing a 26 lot single-family residential development off <br /> of Mt Sinai Road in accordance with the provisions of Section(s) 2.7 and 5.15.6 <br /> of the Unified Development Ordinance (hereafter'UDO). <br /> 2. Chair will declare the public hearing re-convened for the purpose of receiving the <br /> Planning Board recommendation and ask staff to make their presentation. <br /> NOTE—The re-convening of a hearing is solely for the purpose of receiving the Planning <br /> Board recommendation and allowing any new information, previously submitted in <br /> writing, to be entered into the record. The hearing is not intended to solicit additional <br /> input from the public or the applicant. <br /> While the BOCC may ask staff questions related to the review of a given item, comments <br /> from the public or the applicant shall not be solicited. The accepting additional public <br /> comments at this stage of the review (i.e. the reconvened hearing) would constitute a <br /> violation of the UDO. <br /> 3. Staff will review the abstract and ask it be entered into the record. Staff will review the <br /> Findings of Fact(Attachment 6)for the Special Use component of the project. <br /> 4. Questions will be asked of staff. <br /> 5. A motion will need to be made to close the public hearing. <br /> NOTE—once this is done staff cannot answer questions or provide additional detail. <br /> 6. The BOCC will first need to take action on the Special Use Permit findings of fact. The <br /> findings of fact have been organized per relevant LTDO section to aid in making motions <br /> to approve or deny. The cadence on taking action should be as follows <br />
