Contract Renewal with Dr. Marat Dubrovsky, DVM, DBA Nicks Road Veterinary <br />Clinic, for SpaylNeuter Surgery Services with the Animal Shelter Division of the <br />Animal Services Department <br />The Board approved a contract renewal with Dr. Marat Dubrovsky, DVM, to provide spay/neuter <br />surgery services for Orange County's Animal Shelter at the unit price of $63 per surgery during <br />FY 2007-08 and authorized the Chair to sign, pending final review by staff and the County <br />Attarney. <br />h. Contract Renewal with Dr. James Miller, DVM, DBA North Churton Street Animal <br />Services Department <br />The Board approved a contract renewal with Dr. James Miller, DVM, to provide spaylneuter <br />surgery services for Orange County's Animal Shelter at the unit price of $63 per animal during <br />FY 2007-08 and authorize the Chair to sign, pending final review by staff and the County <br />Attorney. <br />i. Contract Renewal with Town of Carrboro for County Provision of Emergency <br />Animal Rescue Services (EARS) <br />The Board approved a contract renewal with the Town of Carrboro to provide the Town with <br />Emergency Animal Rescue Services in the amount of $6,000 during FY 2007-08 and authorized <br />the Chair to sign pending final review by staff and the County Attorney. <br />L Contract Renewal with Town of Chapel Hill for County Provision of Animal Control <br />and Emergency Animal Rescue Services (EARS) <br />The Board approved a contract renewal to provide the Town of Chapel Hill with animal control <br />and emergency animal rescue services from July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008 in the amount <br />of $75,000 and authorized the Chair to sign pending final review by staff and the County <br />Attarney. <br />k. Contract Renewal for Pharmacy Services for Health Department <br />The Board renewed a contract for pharmacy services for the Health Department and authorized <br />the Chair to sign, pending the approval of the 2007-08 budget and County Attorney review. <br />I. Agreement Renewal with Chapel Hill Training and Outreach, Inc. and Health <br />Department for Dental Services for Head Start <br />The Board renewed an agreement for the Health Department provision of dental services for the <br />Head Start Program offered by Chapel Hill Training and Outreach, Inc. in northern Orange <br />County and authorized the Chair to sign. <br />m. Renewal of Contract with Center for Employment Training for Vocational Training <br />The Board renewed the contract with the Center for Employment Training and authorized the <br />Chair to sign. <br />n. Renewal of Contract with Arcadia Health Care to Provide In-Home Aide Services to <br />Eligible Adults <br />The Board approved the contract renewal with Arcadia Health Care for Fiscal Year 2007-2008, <br />authorized the Chair to sign the contract, and directed DSS staff to work with Arcadia during the <br />year to review and discuss any possible issues related to its employees receiving a living wage. <br />o. Renewal of Contract with Home Health Solutions to Provide In-Home Aide <br />Services to Eligible Adults <br />The Board approved the contract renewal with Home Health Solutions for Fiscal Year 2007- <br />2008, authorized the Chair to sign the contract, and directed DSS staff to work with Home <br />Health Solutions during the year to review and discuss any possible issues related to its <br />employees receiving a living wage. <br />
