Attachment 6 119 <br /> Excerpt from Buckhorn Village's Class A Special Use Permit in Regards to the <br /> Allowed Break in the Major Transportation Corridor(MTC) buffer: <br /> a. The northern portion of the Project, running parallel with Interstate 85, shall abide <br /> by the following Open Space requirements: <br /> 1. There shall be a one hundred (100) foot undisturbed, natural bufferalong <br /> the northern property line running parallel with Interstate 85 or as approved <br /> herein, <br /> 2. Existing trees and vegetation may be thinned as follows: no less than fifty- <br /> four(54) trees an acre, existing trees and vegetation to create limited visibility <br /> within this buffer in approximately fifty (50) percent of the required Open Space, <br /> in accordance with the Orange County regulations and the following standards: <br /> a. These areas shall in part be utilized to develop stormwater <br /> retention ponds. Low level and/or aquatic vegetation is required in this <br /> area. There shall be no permanent structures erected within this area <br /> unless to support a public service. Fountains, berms are permitted. <br /> b. Disturbed areas will be replaced with indigenous, drought resistant <br /> vegetation including ground cover and 25% other material that will achieve <br /> a height of six (6) feet within five (5) years. <br />
