102 <br /> Article 6: Development Standards <br /> Section 6.10:Roadway improvements&Multi-Modal transportation <br /> Figure 6.9.14:Off-Street Loading Dimensional Standards <br /> l <br /> "•!III � `� ` <br /> III <br /> (B) Off-street loading spaces shall be so located outside of the right-of-way and positioned so <br /> that a semi-trailer shall be able to use it without undue maneuvering. <br /> (C) Loading areas shall be located at the side or rear of a structure and screened from view <br /> from adjacent rights-of-way and single-family residential properties. <br /> (D) Permanent wheel stops or curbing shall be provided to prevent any vehicle using the <br /> loading area from encroachment on the required street yards,side yards, or adjacent <br /> property. <br /> (E) In no case shall a loading space hinder the movement of traffic or pedestrians. <br /> (F) All off-street loading areas shall be surfaced with an all-weather material such as . <br /> concrete or asphalt,designed to carry the heaviest vehicle loads that can commonly be <br /> expected. Consideration should be given to the weight of fire and sanitation equipment as <br /> well as delivery vehicles. Gravel loading areas may be permitted with the approval of the <br /> DAC. <br /> SECTION 6.10: ROADWAY • MULTI-MODAL <br /> TRANSPORTATION <br /> (A) Economic Development Districts <br /> The following standards shall apply within the Economic Development Districts: <br /> (1) Roadway Design/improvement <br /> (a) Whether improvements are required or not, adequate right-of-way must <br /> be dedicated to accommodate the projected right-of-way requirements <br /> as identified in adopted thoroughfare plans.
