The continuing transportation planning process will be a cooperative one and all planning <br /> discussion will be reflective of and responsive to the comprehensive plans for growth and <br /> development of the Planning Area. <br /> 3. The continuing transportation planning process will be in accordance with the intent, <br /> procedures,and programs of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964,as amended. <br /> 4. The Planning Area may be periodically reassessed and revised in the light of new <br /> developments and data projections. <br /> 5. A Burlington-Graham Transportation Advisory Committee, hereinafter referred to as the <br /> TAC, is hereby established with responsibility for serving as a forum for cooperative <br /> transportation planning and decision making for the Burlington-Graham Metropolitan <br /> Planning Organization. The TAC shall consist of a representative appointed by member <br /> Boards of Local Government and a member of the North Carolina Board of Transportation. <br /> a. Weighted vote distribution is based on the population <br /> within municipal /county /MPO boundaries and extra-territorial jurisdiction areas may <br /> be adjusted at the discretion of the TAC depending on population changes. <br />
