IAttachment 2 Amendment Package for Two Proposed Zoning Overlay Districts in the Efland Area Notes The pages that follow contain the amendments necessary to the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) text, Zoning Atlas, and Comprehensive Plan text to adopt two new zoning overlay districts in the Efland area. These amendments are proposed as a result of, and consistent with, the Efland- Mebane Small Area Plan (adopted in 2006). The primary purpose of the zoning overlay districts is to modify existing development regulations to provide for a more village and urban style of development in an area of the county served, or intended to be served, by public water and sewer systems. Proposed additions /changes to existing UDO text are depicted in it d. Many of the proposed changes utilize footnotes to provide a brief explanation as to rationale. Users are reminded that these excerpts are part of a much larger document (the UDO) that regulates land use and development in Orange County.
