The major transportation <br />corridors include the interstate system as designated in the adopted Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br />" Users should note the Orange County Comprehensive Transportation Plan is currently being developed; it has not <br />yet been adopted. <br />19 This language is suggested so that it's clear that none of the requirements of the MTC apply to the parcels in this <br />geographic area that are also located within the MTC. The MTC boundary is based on distance from the <br />interstate /interchanges but none of the parcels in this area fall under the text requirements of the MTC. <br />20 Some of the zoning districts that could be applied in a CITAN allow buildings taller than 40 feet. A building <br />height limitation of 40 -feet is suggested in order to maintain an urban village character. <br />21 The fencing regulations [(1) and (2)] are in keeping with the ECOD regulations in order to discourage unaesthetic <br />fencing in the front yards of properties. <br />Orange County, North Carolina — Unified Development Ordinance Page 4 -17 <br />
