20 <br /> The technology priorities center on specific categories of enterprise projects. Priority rankings of <br /> projects are offered in each categorical area for Orange County to consider. These priorities should be <br /> assessed by the recommended IT Governance Council and be revised as deemed appropriate. Priority <br /> ranking levels are described in the table below: <br /> Priority Description <br /> Level <br /> Ranking <br /> Level One A Level One project should be started within the next <br /> year in order to meet critical business support <br /> requirements. <br /> Level Two A Level Two project should be started within the next <br /> two years in order to further citizen and employee <br /> impact needs. <br /> Level Three A Level Three project should be assessed and started <br /> within the next three years to ensure innovation and <br /> technological advancement are occurring within Orange <br /> County. <br /> As the recommendations are presented, please refer to the following diagram to understand the <br /> multi-faceted nature of IT investments and how many areas outside of the IT department are critical <br /> to making such investments successful. <br /> 18 <br />
