At the October 9, 2012 and October 25, 2012 <br /> Board work sessions, the attached policies were reviewed by the Board of Commissioners. The <br /> Board of Commissioners recommended changes to several of the policies. The policies have <br /> been modified accordingly and are ready for final approval. <br /> Also attached is a document showing two amendments to the Orange County Board of <br /> Commissioners Advisory Board Policy deleting the Personnel Hearing Board as an advisory <br /> board and adding a provision requiring the posting of an annual meeting schedule for each <br /> advisory board. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with consideration of the <br /> resolution approving the policies. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve and authorize the <br /> Chair to sign the attached resolution approving the specific policies for these advisory boards <br /> and approving two amendments to the Orange County Board of County Commissioners' <br /> Advisory Board Policy. <br />
