Appointments <br /> The Board made the following appointments to the Adult Care Home Community Advisory <br />Committee, Commission for Women, Historic Preservation Commission and Chapel Hill/Orange <br />County Visitors Bureau. <br /> Commission for Women <br /> Commissioner Gordon said that after looking at the applicants for the townships, she <br />noticed the townships should be changed. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs to <br />appoint Amy Wall for the Non-Chapel Hill/Hillsborough Township representative for the term ending <br />June 30, 2004; and Alicia Reid for the Hillsborough Township representative for the term ending <br />June 30, 2004. <br /> Angela C. Adams-Matthews and Melissa McGill were removed as members of the <br />Commission for Women because of excessive absenteeism. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> Commissioner Gordon encouraged the Commission for Women to fill the other empty <br />positions. <br /> <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs to <br />approve the following appointments: <br /> <br /> <br />
