The <br /> bullets correspond to associated sections of the attached ordinance. <br /> Section One: <br /> • Adds new definition in Zoning Ordinance for Federal Emergency Management Agency <br /> • Adds new definition in Zoning Ordinance for Lot, Usable <br /> Section Two: <br /> • Amends the current definition of Stream Buffer to include FEMA floodplains and to identify <br /> how the measurement of the stream buffer will be performed if a water body is present <br /> Section Three: <br /> • Provides precise language to allow for consistent calculation of stream buffers countywide <br /> • Establishes minimum 50-foot (each side) stream buffers for perennial (blue line) and <br /> intermittent (dashed blue line) streams outside of Watershed Protection Overlay Districts <br /> (Attachment B (p. 16)—White areas in the County are not required to have stream buffers <br /> now) <br /> Section Four: <br /> • Sets minimum usable area (newly created lots)that cannot be encumbered by stream <br /> buffers, transmission line easements, water bodies, or a portion of wildlife corridors <br /> Section Five: <br /> • Applicability section of stream buffer ordinance amended to incorporate existing <br /> development for vesting purposes <br />
