Roger Waldon said that the resolution that the <br />Hillsborough Town Board adopted has these points in it. <br />Craig Benedict said that the action before the Board is to approve the resolution <br />{Attachment 1, page 5) and concept map accepting the Hillsborough Area-Orange County <br />Strategic Growth Plan: Phase One, and calling for preparation of an lnterlocal Agreement. He <br />said that the maps are not parcel specific but it delineates areas for future annexation. This is a <br />framework for additional discussion and not a legal public hearing to change land uses. The <br />comments from the Planning Board are in the abstract and the Planning Board approved a <br />version on December 12t" with a unanimous decision. It was discussed again in early February <br />and it voted 8-1 to approve the original thoughts on the issue. <br />Commissioner Gordan verified that the booklet was just the technical background and <br />Craig Benedict said that it was the background document with water potential, etc., and it <br />supports the resolution. <br />Commissioner Gordon suggested an addition before the last "Be it further resolved," to <br />include the two points made by the Planning Board recommendation on December 6, 2Q06. <br />The addition is as follows: "Be it further resolved that the Board of County Commissioners <br />specifically go on record that it has not had the opportunity to view the details to where any lines <br />on the illustrative map might finally be situated nor have citizens in the area really had an <br />opportunity to look at that fully so that we want the record to show that we are not buying into <br />the details of the map at this point to be binding on us or anybody else in the future; and that the <br />
