The fundraising of the two organizations and their willingness to <br /> partner in the project helped make possible $889,000 awarded in State and Federal grants. <br /> These additional funds lowered Orange County's cost for purchase of the 391-acre park to <br /> $700 per acre. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: None <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board adopt the attached <br /> resolution of appreciation to Eno River Association and Triangle Land Conservancy. <br />
