Steering Committee <br />Co-chairs: Pat Sprigg & Florence Soltys <br />Jerry Passmore, Project Manager <br />M.A.P.: It Goals <br />^ To develop and implement a MasterAging Plan (M.A.P.) that provides a comprehensive <br />and coordinated delivery of community services to older adults for the life span who have <br />different levels of functional capacity. <br />^ To promote a senior friendly community as part of smart growth policy for all. <br />^To develop acounty--wide plan that integrates the resources of the many public and private <br />community partners. <br />New M.A.P. Theme <br />Developing Aging-Friendly Communities in Orange <br />^ Steering Committee approved/modified the Theme and Call to Action statement as follows: <br />Engage al! departments of Orange County Government (and towns) as well as the <br />broader community, in the process of improving the infrastructure and services to <br />meet the needs of older adults who desire to age in place, especially those with <br />functianat disabilities and impairments. <br />Overarching Goal Areas <br />^ Steering Committee and subcommittees focused an four goals for all older adults: <br />^ InformationlAccess <br />^ Housing/Shelter <br />
