Resolution Authorizing Sale of 1997 Bonds and Refunding Bonds <br />(7:35-7:40) <br />The Board will consider adopting a resolution formally authorizing the July sale of <br />1997 referendum bonds and refunding bonds previously approved by the Board. <br />d. RFP Award: Countywide Classification and Pay Study <br />(7:40-7:50) <br />The Board will consider awarding a request for proposals to Condrey and <br />Associates for a countywide classification and pay study. <br />e. Notice of Intent to Pursue a Bond Referendum on November 6, 2001 <br />(7:50- <br />8:40) <br />The Board will consider proceeding with legal requirements and Local Government <br />Commission guidelines necessary for the proposed November 6, 2001 bond <br />referendum. <br />f. Resolution of Intent to Create a Bond Education Committee and Proposed <br />Charge and Structure of the Committee <br />(8:40-9:00) <br />The Board will consider a resolution of intent to create a bond education committee <br />to develop and disseminate information to voters on the proposed November 6, <br />2001 bond referendum, and consider a proposed charge to and structure of the <br />committee. <br />g. Bid Award: Franklin Street Pocket Park <br />(9:00-9:10) <br />The Board will consider awarding a bid and approving a contract for construction <br />of a pocket park at 503 W. Franklin St., Chapel Hill. <br /> <br />10. REPORTS (For informational purposes only) <br />a. Northern Human Services Center Future Use Plan <br />(9:10-9:20) <br />The Board will receive a report on an assessment and proposed future plans for the <br />Northern Human Services Center. <br />b. BOCC Meeting Follow-up Action Lists <br />(9:20-9:30) <br />The Board will receive copies of follow-up action lists from regular Board <br />meetings and non-budget work sessions from January 19, 1999 through June 19, <br />2001. <br /> <br />11.
