Motions for Budget Adoption <br /> June 25, 2001 <br /> Motion 1. To adopt the 2001-02 Orange County Budget Ordinance to include <br /> a Countywide tax rate of 80.5 cents and a Chapel Hill/Carrboro City <br /> Schools District Tax of 20.2 cents. <br /> Motion 2. To approve the 2001-02 Grant Projects as presented in the County <br /> Manager's Recommended Budget (with approval of the Ordinances <br /> on June 25, 2001). <br /> Motion 3. To approve the 2001-02 Capital Projects as presented in the <br /> County Manager's Recommended Budget (with approval of the <br /> Ordinances on June 25, 2001). <br /> Motion 4. To adopt the 2001-02 Salary Schedule, including the 2.5 percent <br /> Cost-of-Living increase effective July 1, 2001. <br /> Motion 5. Adopt the Personnel Ordinanc fkbvi3ims related to the following: <br /> • To continue the in-range salary increases of one half step <br /> (approximately 2.5%)for employees with WPPR Review Dates <br /> of July 1, 2001 and after. <br /> • To increase the Supplemental Retirement Plan Contribution <br /> from $15 per pay period to $20 per pay period for each eligible <br /> employee (effective July 1, 2001). <br /> • To increase the County's Living Wage for employees from <br /> $8.45 per hour to $9.11 per hour. <br /> Motion 6. To adopt the County Fee Schedule. <br />
